Norco, CA, January 2023 - QCP has acquired Canterbury Designs line of site furnishings. Founded by visionary Larry Snyder in 1962, the site furnishings company has a wide-ranging line of benches, waste receptacles, tree grates, bollards and more.

We’ve been Canterbury’s precast vendor for years.  I have always admired the company’s commitment to design and quality.” says QCP CEO Rick Crook. “When the opportunity arose to acquire their line of metal and wood site furnishings I was interested right away. We were already playing with the idea of new products which mixed concrete with steel and wood, so this deal was a natural.”.

“As a new member to the team it was a pleasant surprise to hear that QCP was going to acquire the Canterbury Designs line of site furnishings,” says Matthew Gilio-Tenan, the new director of design and marketing. “There is a lot of synergy between QCP and Canterbury’s product lines, and It’s exciting to be able to offer the products together. Canterbury’s steel line also offers us the opportunity to work with concrete, metal, and wood in new ways, and I look forward to exploring the new products we will be able to offer.”

As QCP looks toward the future the Canterbury Designs product line will play an important role in its evolution as an industry leader in site furnishings.  “We are super excited to introduce their products to our customers and we will promote them in a big way,” says Crook. “As much as we love concrete, we understand that it doesn’t work for every application. We want to be a full-service shop for our customers, so that they can bundle everything together when they go to specify or purchase site furnishings. With Canterbury we can do that like no one else.”
